As freshmen, Maggie was recruited to play soccer, and Neil was recruited to play lacrosse at Towson University. They met through mutual friends that first year and made an instant connection.
When it came time for a proposal, Neil wanted to make sure it was followed by a good celebration. So after proposing to Maggie on the couple’s front doorstep, the couple went off to the neighborhood bar to meet up with a few friends. As it turns out, Neil had phoned a few dozen people to tell them the news, and they were all there to greet the happy couple as they walked through the door.
