Anthony’s Pier 9 Wedding: Nicole and Brian

10.9.11  Nicole and Brian’s wedding at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor, NY was an amazing celebration on the most perfect autumn day you could ask for (80 degrees and sunshine!) with the best family and friends you could ask for, too.  Of course, we may be biased, since some of our favorite former wedding peeps were in attendance.

Since the reception was in the grand Imperial room, Nicole and Brian made a dramatic entrance, rising up through the elevator while lights flashed and spotlights criss-crossed the floor, the elevator slowly rising as the stairs rolled out, allowing the newlyweds descend to “Livin’ On a Prayer.”  Quite awesome!

The Details

The bridesmaids wore reds gowns and carried beautiful bouquets of red and orange lilies and daisies, and the groomsmen wore black suits with matching red accents.  The tables were laid with red linens and matching floral centerpieces, each containing adorable photos of Nicole and Brian.  Guests were entertained by taking photos in the photo booth all night.

When we met with Nicole and Brian months ago about the details of the wedding, Nicole handed us a sealed envelope.  Her father had picked out their dance together as a surprise and wanted to make sure no one found out.  The song inside was “Daddy’s Little Girl,” only instead of simply dancing to it, he sang it to her.  “And you’re Daddy’s little girl…”

Some of my favorite moments: watching Nicole and Brian slow dance to “God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton, Nicole singing the words to her new husband.  Brian (finally!) on the dance floor wearing a glow necklace, being bounced between four young ladies like a ping pong ball.

When there is love in the room, you know it, and there was certainly a roomful here.  Brian and Nicole, we’re so honored that you chose us to be a part of your day.  Thank you!
