Mohonk Mountain House Wedding Ana and Krysthian
lovely.
A breeze kept us company beside the gardens and pine gates on the hill as we waited for the ceremony to begin. Jeff performed acoustic guitar as Ana made her appearance, gorgeous in her gown, orchids nestled in her hair. One of their guests sang, “I Will Be Here,” an incredibly moving performance; Ana dabbed Krysthian’s eyes with her delicate fingers.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the deck overlooking the sparkling lake and mountains before moving into the West Dining Hall for dinner.
There is something so relaxing, inspiring and beautiful about being on the grounds of the Mohonk Preserve. I just feel the tension drain immediately. And to have a Hudson Valley wedding here, well…it’s nothing short of spectacular!
THE DETAILS: White, lavender and pale blue hydrangeas in the floral arrangements on the tables. The bridesmaids wore one shoulder deep purple gowns. The butter cream wedding cake was topped with lavender orchids.
Ana and Krysthian smiled softly at one another as they danced to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole before inviting guests to join them. They were truly the gracious hosts on their wedding
day. They even invited us to sit at a table with them to enjoy every course. Delicious! Did I mention that the food at Mohonk Mountain House is unbelievable, too?
Ana and Krysthian, your thoughtfulness and grace shone through in every facet of your wedding day. I am still smiling just thinking about it. Thank you so much for having us!
