Sugar Hill Farm Wedding Amanda and Kyle
Hudson Valley wedding set amongst beautiful pastures and quiet woods.
The couple was married on the lawn beside the pond as Jeff performed acoustic guitar. Amanda could not have looked more lovely in her wedding gown with a white sash cascading down her back that matched the white rose in her hair.
Amanda and Kyle gave a spirited entrance to “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas, playing to their guests, before sharing their first dance as husband and wife to the romantic “Angel” by Jack Johnson. I love this song!
THE DETAILS: The wedding reception was held in the barn with green linens on the tables. Each table number featured a photograph of Amanda and Kyle posing and kissing at different spots on Sugar Hill Farm. The bridesmaids wore apple green dresses and carried bouquets of white roses and hydrangeas; each of the girls had a white rose in their hair.
At the last minute, Amanda decided she wanted to shake up her dance with her father by switching into something more fun. They started out with “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and then…Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough.” Everyone loved it and the dance floor was packed!
Kyle followed suit by inviting everyone to join him as he shared a dance with his mother to “Jammin” by Bob Marley.
Daniel from Gendron Catering did an amazing job using Sugar Hill Farm’s own beef, pork and chicken in the delicious appetizers and buffet. It’s not easy to pull off a farm wedding, but Amanda and Kyle did it with style, grace and FUN. Thank you so much for inviting us!
