The Garrison Wedding Alexis and Brendan

Garrison, but I had no idea how wacky and fun this night would be!
Alexis and Brendan were married by their close friend, “Reverend, counselor and podiatrist,” Colin. The Halloween touches began there, with the flower girl tossing leaves from a box labeled Spells.

THE SPOOKY DETAILS: Guests picked up mini pumpkins attached to their place card fixed to a tiny Halloween button. The tables were decorated with petrified trees. A trick or treat candy buffet and buckets of candy with a few “dead fingers” buried inside along with homemade Weddoween Lager and Bewitched Ale beers were favors for the guests. The card box had a raven inside and elaborate masks were given out so that everyone could partake in the wedding masquerade ball.

Of course, seasonal trinkets weren’t all the fun-loving couple had up their sleeve…
Alexis and Brendan were introduced to “Masquerade” from Phantom of the Opera. Just as we started to play their First Dance song, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” performed by Elvis…screeeech!
“Hold on, hold on, everybody. Let’s do this thing right.” It was the voice of the King himself.
Yes, ELVIS sang their first dance song in full jumpsuit attire, swiveling hips, sideburns and all. Later on he even dedicated “Teddy Bear” to Alexis’ Nonnie and danced with her as he sang. “They didn’t tell me you’d be so beautiful, honey.”
Check out the Halloween-y cake topper…

Between the masks, Elvis, a mini Guitar Hero fan rocking the dance floor to “Eye of the Tiger” and a banana costume that mysteriously appeared later in the night, this wedding was non-stop fun and laughter. Alexis and Brendan, you outdid yourselves!

We just saw this! You guys were great. I definitely don’t think our day would have been as fun as it was without you. The music was perfect, and everyone had a blast dancing to it.
